Advanced Diagnostics
The most advanced diagnostic tools to provide fast and efficient evaluation are
available at the Vascular Center. Our noninvasive vascular laboratories provide
a full range of studies for carotid and extremity circulatory abnormalities. Advanced
imaging studies used include:
- Carotid exam
- Venous exam
- Arterial exam
- CT angiography
- MR angiography
- Standard contrast angiography
- Intravascular ultrasonography
- Transcranial doppler

The Vascular Center brings together experienced specialists from cardiology, interventional
radiology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgery. While each
physician brings a unique set of skills, they work together to provide patients
with a collaborative and comprehensive approach to vascular care.

Accreditation
The Vascular Center at The Nebraska Medical Center is accredited by the Intersocietal
Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) ensuring high
quality patient care and to promote health care by providing a mechanism to encourage
and recognize the provision of quality noninvasive vascular diagnostic testing by
a process of voluntary accreditation.
