The Nebraska Medical Center Food and Nutrition Services offer a variety of food and nutrition services to patients and their guests. As a patient you may select your meal choices from a daily menu according to the dietary guidelines established by your physician. If you desire, a food service representative will help you with your selections.

Meals are served at the following times

• Breakfast, 6:30 - 8:30 a.m.
• Lunch, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Dinner, 4:30 - 6:15 p.m.

Your nutritional status is assessed when you are admitted and appropriate nutritional counseling is provided as necessary. Your guests may dine in any of the following areas. A restaurant menu is available at each of the locations.

Crossroads Express

Crossroads Express, a convenience store, is located at University, Level 3. Available for take-out are sundries, hot and cold beverages, snacks and a selection of soups and sandwiches.

• Weekends and Holidays, 11:00 - 2:30 a.m.

Vending machines with assorted beverages, candies and snacks are located in various locations throughout the hospital.
